EACH POPULATION HAS A TERM (VERSE NO. 34)

      This verse points at one of the laws of creation, that every group or nation will have a term which none can retard or advance it when it is to be over. That is to say, nations too, have their own life and death, as the individuals have. This is because groups and nations are composed of the individuals.

      The death of nations is due to deviation from the way of truth and justice, and going in the path of evil and oppression, and being drowned in the whirlpool of lusts, luxuriances and self-indulgences. When nations and societies pervert from righteousness, and step on the said evil paths, they will lose the capitals and resources of their existence, one after another, and eventually they will fall, as the ancient golden civilizations, such that the Babylon, Chaldeans, and Assyrians fell.
