THE CONDITIONS FOR OUR PRAYERS TO BE ANSWERED

VERSE NO. 55

      No one and nothing other than Allah deserves worship. Therefore our prayers should be sincere and pure for Him. We must avoid vanity and pretence in our prayer:

      ``Call on you Lord secretly and with humility.'' If we do our prayer with secrecy and humility, it shall be free of pretence and show, and then God prepares the ground for our spiritual advancement by answering our prayer and supplications.

      It is narrated that; once our prophet heard a group of Muslims praying and calling on their Lord loudly! The prophet said to them: ``Call on your Lord slowly, because you are not calling an absent or deaf one. You rather call on someone Who is Omnipresent and All-hearing.''
